What is a "thread piece?" Actually, it's fiber art, but Colette likes to say "thread piece." Recent thread pieces are about 55 by 55 inches; thread, cloth and other things are sewn by hand onto cotton duck. Older pieces are different sizes; many will fit on a door.
What are we looking at? That's Colette writing the 2007 Christmas cards. The thread piece hangs on the east wall of our living room, so it can be studied and photographed.
